Getting started is easy:
- Create a Wispers account
- Download the Wispers app on each device
- Register each device with your account
From that point on, your devices can talk to each other directly. No need to upload files to a shared folder or sync them through a third-party cloud. No middlemen. No storage quotas. No waiting for slow cloud syncs. Just instant, secure access to your files, wherever they are.
Your files never get stored in the Cloud
Traditional file sharing services work by uploading your files to a central Cloud server, where they’re stored until another device downloads them. That model requires a lot of trust: the Cloud operator could read your files' contents, could lose them, or just suspend your account and refuse to return your files.
With Wispers, files are sent directly from one of your devices to another, without ever getting stored in the Cloud. The Wispers Hub handles coordination — like request routing and device discovery — but never storage. Additionally, a cryptographic device roster makes sure the Hub can't ever steal your data, even if it's taken over by hackers. Your data stays yours, end to end.
